at the bottom of each article. |
|
use
any of your freebies as free bonuses for products or services they
sell. Include your ad on all the freebies. |
|
use
your online discussion board for their own web site. Some people don't
have one. Just include your banner ad at the top of the board. |
|
sign
up for a free web site on your server. Since you are giving away the
space, require them to place your banner ad at the top of the site. |
|
add
their link to your free web site directory. Just require that they
return a link back to your web site, advertising your directory. |

|
give
away your free ebook to their visitors. Then, their visitors will also
give it away. This will just continue to duplicate your ad all over
the Internet. |
Testimonials:
Testimonials are also another powerful tool to include in as many ads and
locations as possible. Utilize them in your web site, in your
autoresponder messages, advertising etc. Don't make them up, generally
testimonials will include the persons name, location and email
contact, so they could possibly be checked, besides, a professional,
ethical marketer does not have to use devious and underhanded tactics to succeed.
Remember, your credibility is at stake.
Always check your
advertising before submitting; typos project an unprofessional image to
the reader and will probably turn them away. Check that all URL's and
email addresses are included and correct. You generally only get one
"shot" when a person sees your ad. If you are going to
advertise a business on the web, and you present a less than professional
image you're not going to do business!
I
have a good memory and I scan ads in this
order: Header, then the URL, the reason? I am looking for the
keywords "free" and "no cost" in the header, and If I
see a URL or handle that I know I have seen before, (domain name) I
skip the ad entirely - why waste my time? When you are using a
common domain name related to the affiliate or other programs you are
associated with, your URL can be a disadvantage as others have the same
domain name, however, you can use the IP address instead e.g. http://206.158.220.50/free/?352936.01
is the equivalent of: http://.www/sixfigureincome.com/free/?352936.01
check it and see!
One
tactic many marketers use is to delete all their ads and resubmit them
each week. Using this technique you can generate a steady flow of new
leads, provided you are consistent and keep posting each week. Submission
periods vary greatly and you should note how often you may re-submit to
your advertising sources: some may be daily, weekly, monthly
or every ten minutes, it's imperative that you keep a log of them.
The most critical aspect of your advertising is consistency, you must
submit and re-submit at every opportunity and on a regular basis or your
recruiting or sales efforts will lose momentum.
Operating Multiple
Businesses: if you expand your
income portfolio by operating multiple on-line businesses, ensure
you create relationships between them all in advertising, links, banners,
referrals and so on, this will consolidate your advertising and marketing
efforts and automatically increase your entire business-group exposure on
the web.
Submitting
your Ad or Url -
When you first advertise and submit your URL to Search Engines or your ad to a
submission service, don't expect an instant reaction, ad placement and URL
submission takes time. Please realize that some search engines can take
days or weeks to review and place your submission (not all - some are relatively quick.)
and that's if it's accepted. Ad placement can be instantaneous, overnight,
or within several days depending on the service you use. Ad placements are
generally manually checked for relativity and then placed if they are
within the service's guidelines. If you submit over the weekend it may take
even longer. Patience!
Posting on FFA sites
- the amount of time your ad will stay on FFA sites will vary. Your ad
will be posted at the top of the list, and as other ads are placed, yours
will drop down, until it is ultimately dropped off the bottom of the list.
Some FFA sites will advise you when your ad is dropped off the list so
then you can re-submit, and the process then starts again!
Remember
the story about how do you eat an elephant? - One bite at a time!
Submitting
your ad or URL can be a tedious process even when using some auto-submitters,
(manual submission by yourself is regarded to be more reliable as you know
the ad has been placed) If you aim to maximize on your efforts for
advertising exposure:- submit multiple ads using different URL's and email
addresses at the same time. By setting up multiple email addresses, autoresponders
and web sites - you can then submit your ads using different email
addresses and Urls for your bizop/s to each
submission service (you can't be accused of spamming and you're already
logged in, so make the most of it). Your ad headers and content should be different for each ad, (use
Notepad) readers shouldn't see repetitive ads from you. Let's face it,
there are already too many generic cloned ads and headers supplied by numerous Companies.
Advertising
Categories when submitting your ad/s you will be asked to select a
category to advertise in. Obviously you would select a relevant category
and/or sub-categories to your business or several if the service gives you
that option. Submit to as many categories as possible - remember you need
to maximize your exposure whenever and wherever possible.
As
an example, an excellent free classified site to use is Yahoo
Classifieds. You can submit up to 10 classifieds. Simply go to the
site, register, then select "Submit Ads". You'll get a list of
categories, select "Business Opportunities". You'll be presented
with a form to fill in. On this form you have to select a category and a
sub-category (called Industry).
